Upcoming Important Dates for Hospital VBP Program - Sept. 25, 2012
The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) in the upcoming months will provide new reports and information to quality improvement organizations and hospitals as the Hospital Value-Based Purchasing (VBP) Program is implemented.
Important dates for hospitals to note:
- Oct. 4 – National provider call to review FY 2013 Actual Percentage Payment Summary Report
- Mid-Late October – Distribution of FY 2013 Actual Percentage Payment Summary Report (to users via My QualityNet)
- Early-Mid November – FY 2014 Baseline Report Available (users to run report on My QualityNet)
- Early 2013 (tentatively) – National provider call to review FY 2015 Hospital VBP Program
Interested hospitals can register for the upcoming calls on CMS’ registration
website. CMS encourages early registration, as registration closes at 12 pm on the day of the call or when all available space has been filled. CMS also encourages hospitals to submit any questions they have about the Hospital VBP Program in the “Question & Answer” section of
QualityNet.
