AHRQ Seeks Approval for Patient Safety Event Reporting System - Sept. 11, 2012

The Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) has submitted a request to the Office of Management and Budget for approval to collect information for a prototype consumer reporting system for patient safety events. With this project, AHRQ aims to design and test a system of collecting information from patients voluntarily about health care safety events using standard formulas and definitions. AHRQ is accepting comments on the proposed information collection through Nov. 9.
