340B Drug Pricing Program Update From HRSA - July 31, 2012

Last week, the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) released a Federal Register notice to 340B stakeholders with revised deadlines for registering new covered entities and adding outpatient facilities and contract pharmacy arrangements to the 340B Drug Pricing Program. These changes go into effect Oct. 1. A list of the new deadlines and the official Federal Register notice can be found online. The HRSA Office of Pharmacy Affairs (OPA) will hold a webinar in the upcoming weeks to review the changes.
