University of Kentucky/UK HealthCare

Established in 1957, UK HealthCare encompasses all of the clinical facilities, programs and activities of the University of Kentucky. UK Colleges of Medicine, Nursing, Dentistry, Health Sciences, Public Health and Pharmacy are considered part of the medical campus. This multi-specialty group practice enables care providers to collaborate in multidisciplinary teams for patient care; such teams are useful for managing complex medical and surgical cases.UK HealthCare facilities include UK Chandler Hospital, Kentucky Children’s Hospital, UK HealthCare East, Kentucky Clinic, Polk-Dalton Clinic, Kentucky Clinic South, 80 specialty clinics, and 143 outreach clinics. UK HealthCare also operates the Center for Advanced Surgery, Minimally Invasive Surgery Center, and Transplant Center.
