Health Care District of Palm Beach County - Lakeside Medical Center

The 50-acre medical campus for Lakeside Medical Center serves the residents of Palm Beach County communities bordering Lake Okeechobee and surrounding towns. Completed in 2009, Lakeside Medical Center is managed by the Health Care District of Palm Beach County, an independent taxing district that also provides health coverage for low-income residents. The district offers an array of health care services, including a nationally recognized trauma center, pharmacy network, and a long-term skilled nursing and rehabilitation center. The system also staffs more than 200 registered nurses in nearly 170 public schools, serving more than 169,000 students from pre-kindergarten to 12th grade. Lakeside Medical Center services and features include emergency care, women's health, surgery, critical care, advanced technologies and all private patient rooms.
