Denver Health
Denver Health is a high-quality health care system and serves as Colorado's largest Medicaid provider, and has provided more than $3.4 billion in care for the uninsured since 1991. Despite this significant commitment to its mission, Denver Health remains financially solvent through an efficient, integrated system. Twenty-five percent of all Denver residents—or approximately 150,000 individuals—receive their health care at Denver Health per year. One of every three children in Denver is cared for by Denver Health physicians. The comprehensive health system includes a main hospital and Level 1 Trauma Center, Denver’s 911 medical response system and Public Health Department. It also runs an 8-clinic network of health centers throughout the city.
