CMS to Hold Webinar on Strong Start Initiative - March 6, 2012

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) will host a webinar on March 7 at 3:00 pm ET that will discuss $43.2 million in grants available to providers of obstetric care and others to test new approaches to prenatal care for Medicaid enrollees at risk for pre-term births. Staff from the CMS Center for Medicare & Medicaid Innovation (“Innovation Center”) and the Center for Medicaid and Children’s Health Insurance Program will discuss how applicants can work with the state, as well as the role of the state in the Strong Start funding opportunity.
