Educating a patient throughout their stay may prepare them for managing their own care, but their perception and understanding of the instructions received at discharge will make the greatest impact on their ability to properly heal at home. Learn critical key words to use when communicating with patients about their medications and care and discover how repetition of information plays a large role in a patient’s likelihood of compliance at home.
