Los Angeles Times
editorial "
The efficiency expert healthcare needs
" makes depressingly clear, some members of the
Senate
have seized upon the nomination of Don Berwick to head
CMS
to continue their war against national health reform. As the Times said: "Berwick is well respected and a good choice for an agency that has gone too long without a leader. His nomination shouldn't be held hostage while the GOP tries to refight old battles over the new healthcare reform law." NAPH has now also written a
letter
in support of Dr. Berwick, and we strongly urge all rational people who want health reform to succeed to do likewise.
