The new issue of The Safety Net Magazine focuses on "Quality and Transparency in Public Hospitals," covering such topics as value-based purchasing, patient satisfaction, and safety. Features showcase member efforts to improve quality and achieve transparency, noting several award-winning initiatives. Many leading experts contributed to this issue, including the Institute for Healthcare Improvement, National Quality Forum, Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality, and the American Medical Association.
