NAPH and its research affiliate, the National Public Health and Hospital Institute (NPHHI) conducts original research into issues concerning safety net institutions. A variety of research reports, policy and issue briefs of interest to safety net hospital administrators on topics ranging from safety net financing, reducing racial and ethnic health care disparities and quality improvement and patient safety to chronic disease management, workforce development, emergency preparedness and model programs are available and can be searched through our publications database.
