I was lucky enough to be able to attend a great event at NAPH member New York City Health and Hospital Corporation's STAT! 2011 Gala a few weeks ago and filmed the event to share all of the festivities with you! The evening featured stars from NBC's Meredith Viera to music producer Swizz Beats, as well as HHC's own President Alan Aviles. It took place in the beautiful atrium at Bellevue Hospital, where the stunning brick entrance to the old hospital is encased and preserved by a modern, sleek curved atrium designed by Pei Cobb Freed & Partners. The event honored select people in the New York community and nationally who tirelessly support the work of public hospitals, including our very own president and CEO.
