Please register to receive dial-in and webinar access information from [email protected]. You will need both a computer with a viable internet connection and a phone line to access the visual and audio components of this webinar.

During this webinar, we will compare performance data for members of America’s Essential Hospitals with data for nonmember hospitals in the following areas:

  • risk-adjusted mortality
  • cost and length of stay
  • labor expenses
  • core measures
  • complications
  • severity
  • documentation and coding

We will also examine many other stratified analyses, including the differences between academic and nonacademic hospitals. We will provide insight into why differences occur and explain how hospitals can use the UHC comparative data tool to accelerate their performance improvement efforts.

This webinar is the second on UHC’s comparative data. The first described UHC, detailed its competence in performance improvement, and provided information on UHC’s comparative data strategy.

Speakers:
Steve Meurer, PhD, MBA, MHS
Senior Vice President for Business Development and Product Innovation
