Institute for Healthcare Improvement
America's Essential Hospitals maintains a close relationship with the Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI) to bring the full benefit of IHI’s quality training courses to the our members. Working with America's Essential Hospitals and the support of Kaiser Permanente’s Community Benefit Fund, IHI began a safety net “track” at its Annual National Forum on Quality Improvement, a national meeting that draws more than 5,000 hospital leaders, clinicians, and administrative staff to learn about best practices in quality and performance improvement. Through this collaboration, members of America's Essential Hospitals have benefited from dozens of IHI conferences, professional development resources, and free web-based programs.
