University Physicians Healthcare

University Physicians Healthcare (UPH) is Arizona’s largest physician’s group. Together with University Physicians Hospital, University Medical Center (UMC), and The University of Arizona, UPH provides healthcare services, trains physicians, and conducts clinical research. UPH doctors perform transplants and treat serious injuries at the UMC Trauma Center and University Physicians Hospital Emergency Department. The group provides state-of-the-art medical and surgical care in nearly every specialty area including cancer, cardiology, arthritis, and orthopedics at clinic sites throughout the region. UPH physicians have authored textbooks commonly used in medical schools around the world—109 UPH doctors were listed in the 2007 database of Best Doctors in America, a listing of 50,000 expert physicians.
