The Gage Awards

For more than 20 years, NAPH has sponsored the Gage Awards program – recently renamed for NAPH founder and ardent safety net advocate, Larry S. Gage – to recognize NAPH members for implementing creative, successful programs and activities that boost patient care, improve community health and save money. These programs have an exponential effect around the country, as they are designed to be easily replicated in other organizations. While the award categories vary from year to year, this year we honored members for outstanding work in the areas of population health and quality and patient safety. Read on to learn about their initiatives. You can also view the award ceremony, which took place during NAPH’s 2012 Annual Conference
