March of Dimes, 543,000 babies are born prematurely each year. That’s one in eight – a rate higher than in most developed countries. And, many NAPH members see far too many of these babies in their hospitals. In recognition of
Prematurity Awareness Month in November, we are highlighting the innovations, best practices and promising practices within our membership that are battling prematurity. And because this battle takes place both before and after babies are born, we’ve included initiatives that focus on pre- and postnatal mother and baby health. Read on to learn more.
