Institute for Healthcare Improvement

NAPH maintains a close relationship with the Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI) in order to bring the full benefit of IHI’s quality training courses to the NAPH membership. Working with NAPH and the support of Kaiser Permanente’s Community Benefit Fund, IHI began a safety net “track” at its Annual National Forum on Quality Improvement, a national meeting that draws more than 5,000 hospital leaders, clinicians and administrative staff to learn about best practices in quality and performance improvement. Through this collaboration, NAPH members have benefited from dozens of IHI conferences, professional development resources, and free web-based programs.
