2011 Fellows Program

PRINTER-FRIENDLY PROGRAM BROCHURE

As health reform begins to transform care delivery, NAPH members are taking bold steps to implement change within their institutions. Critical steps in transforming health care processes and systems will be rethinking the complex relationships between doctors and organizations and creating the alignment essential for seamless, high quality, efficient patient and population-focused care.

NAPH’s 2011 Fellows Program brought together administrative and physician leaders to explore new approaches to working together and to learning about models, strategies and tools to boost engagement and alignment of physicians in the enterprise — not just in isolated quality projects.

The Fellows Program covered:
  • The potential for administrative and physician partnerships/alignment to transform delivery systems.
  • The leadership skills and cultural insight needed to create and improve alignment.
  • Care models and management processes that support well aligned inpatient and outpatient care.
  • Effective uses of teams to improve alignment.
  • Incentives that improve alignment and performance.

You can learn more about the projects from this program in the LEARN section of NAPH's Transformation Center website.
