UHC Recognizes University of Utah Hospitals and Clinics - October 5, 2010
The University HealthSystem Consortium (UHC) awarded the University of Utah Hospitals and Clinics its “2010 UHC Quality Leadership Award” at its annual meeting. The hospital system, an NAPH member, was one of five academic medical centers (AMCs) receiving the award this year. According to UHC, “the award is given to AMCs that demonstrated excellence in delivering high-quality care as measured by the UHC Quality & Accountability Study, which UHC has conducted annually since 2005.”
