Reminder: Nov. 30 Deadline for Hospitals to Attest for 2011 Medicare EHR Incentive Payment - November 22, 2011

Nov. 30 is the last day for eligible hospitals to register and attest for the Medicare Electronic Health Record (EHR) Incentive Program payments for federal fiscal year (FFY) 2011. The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services has created a registration user guide and related webinar to help hospitals with registration. The Meaningful Use attestation calculator and attestation user guide for hospitals can help with the attestation process.

Registration will be open after Nov. 30 for eligible hospitals who wish to register for a FFY 2012 payment. For the Medicaid EHR incentive program, each state has its own attestation deadlines. Links to state-specific Medicaid EHR incentive program information can be found here.
