AHRQ Seeks New Nominations for U.S. Preventive Services Task Force - November 16, 2010

The federal Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) on Nov. 10 announced it would seek nominations for new members to the U.S. Preventive Services Task Force. The Task Force consists of experts that make independent evidence-based recommendations regarding the provision of clinical preventive services. Under health reform, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services will take their recommendations into consideration when determining which preventive care services insurers must cover without any cost sharing.
