National Governors Association Guides States as they Implement HIT Stimulus Provisions - August 25, 2009

On August 4, the National Governors Association’s State Alliance for e-Health issued a report outlining the steps states should to take to implement the HIT and health information exchange provisions in the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA). Steps include applying for and managing grant funds to facilitate HIT adoption and information exchange as well as overseeing and administering Medicaid incentive payments to providers.
