NAPH Sponsors National Medicaid Congress - May 11, 2011

The 2011 National Medicaid Congress, slated to take place June 13-15 in Washington, DC, will focus on health reform implementation efforts at both the federal and state levels. NAPH, an official cosponsor of the event, will be playing an active role during this conference. Bruce Siegel, MD, NAPH’s chief executive officer, will be a plenary speaker on the morning of June 15. Dr. Siegel’s remarks, Medicaid at Ground Zero - A Report from the Safety Net, will provide a unique perspective on health reform implementation. He will address the current challenges and opportunities for safety net health systems in moving the delivery system forward and providing better care to millions of Medicaid and uninsured patients.
