NAPH Seeks Member Support for HEC Proposal - July 26, 2011

Currently, NAPH is working on a proposal in response to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid's (CMS) request for Hospital Engagement Contractors (HECs). HECs will provide training, technical assistance and data tracking to support hospitals as they work to improve patient safety and preventable readmissions. If NAPH is selected to become an HEC, NAPH members will be able to join the program. An overview of NAPH’s proposal and a recording from a webinar discussing the proposal are now available online.

NAPH is currently seeking support from its members. NAPH is grateful to member hospital CEOs willing to send support letters, which improve the chance of selection.
