NAPH Provides Analysis of President’s FY 2012 Budget Proposal - March 2, 2011

NAPH, along with its counsel at Ropes & Gray LLP, have prepared a full summary of President Obama’s Fiscal Year 2012 budget proposal, which was released on Feb. 14, 2011. Highlights of the budget this year for NAPH members included a proposed long-term fix to Medicare physician payments, a sustained reduction in disproportionate share hospital rates past 2020, and a phase down in allowable Medicaid provider taxes beginning in FY 2015.
