NAPH Member Recognized by Kaiser Foundation at IHI Meeting - December 21, 2010

Chester J. Kunnappilly, MD, chief medical officer (CMO) at San Mateo Medical Center in California was recognized by Kaiser Permanente for the successful implementation of key strategies gained from IHI programs supported through the Kaiser Foundation. Kunnappilly is an enthusiastic recipient of these endowment scholarships and feels they have greatly supported his work. Before becoming the CMO at San Mateo Hospital, he served as chief of quality. He also has participated as an IHI scholar in the Improving Patient Care in the Office Practice and Community, Triple Aim and the IHI Forum.
