Jackson Health System names new CEO; Three NAPH Member CEOs Announce Resignations - April 19, 2011
On April 13, the board of Jackson Health System named Carlos Migoya as the new CEO of Jackson Health System. Mr. Migoya will most likely take control on June 1. Mr. Migoya has 30 years of banking experience, and for the past ten months has served as the city manager of Miami. Also, the CEOs of three NAPH members—William Foley of Cook County Health & Hospitals System, Mike Young, of Grady Health System, and Dwight Chenette, of Health Care District of Palm Beach County—have all announced their resignations in the last month. NAPH extends its gratitude for the service that each have provided to their communities over the years, and looks forward to working with all four member health systems as they begin a transition to new leadership.
