NAPH Leadership Meets with Secretary of HHS - November 3, 2009

NAPH President Larry Gage and Executive Director Chris Burch met on Oct. 30 with Secretary of Health and Human Services Kathleen Sebelius and White House Health Reform Director Jeanne Lambrew. Gage and Burch were joined by Rich Umdenstock (President and CEO of the American Hospital Association), Sister Carol Keehan (President and CEO of the Catholic Health Association of the United States), and Chip Kahn (President of the Federation of American Hospitals). The group discussed health reform implementation issues, including health system integration and quality improvement.
