NAPH Elected to Co-Chair Partnership for Medicaid - December 13, 2011

NAPH is happy to announce its election as first co-chair of the Partnership for Medicaid. Beginning in January 2012, NAPH will co-chair this nonpartisan, nationwide coalition for 2 years. The coalition works to ensure continuation of the Medicaid program and to preserve its crucial role as a strong safety net for vulnerable populations. The coalition also works in a bipartisan manner to improve the Medicaid program, developing viable solutions that improve the quality and delivery of services, while containing costs.

The partnership has more than 20 member organizations representing doctors, health care providers, safety net health plans, counties and labor. Members include the National Association of Children’s Hospitals, Catholic Health Association of the United States, National Association of Community Health Centers and the National Association of Counties.
