Guess Who’s Blogging? NAPH! Join the Conversation Today! - April 13, 2010

NAPH recently launched its very own blog – Safety Net Matters – and we want to hear from you! In this space we seek to stimulate interesting discussions around issues that affect safety net hospitals and the diverse patients that we serve. Missed the recent musings of NAPH President Larry Gage as he reflected on his experiences in the emergency department last week as the 150 year old safety net hospital in New York City—St. Vincent’s—prepared to close its doors? Catch up now! Thinking about getting an iPad for personal use? Learn how two hospitals are using this mobile technology for patient education. Not quite sure your hospital is ready to enter the world of social media? Read how NAPH members have not only successfully embraced the technology, but use it to better connect with their patients and benefactors! Think the GOP will succeed in repealing the new health reform legislation? Read the post, “Repeal, Really?” There are definitely a few points to consider. Lastly, got a story of your own to tell? Member submissions are always welcome! So, come one, come all and join the conversation! You can comment directly to posts on the blog or if you want to post, please contact Brigette Scott at 202.585.0102 for instructions.
