Medicare EHR Attestation Begins April 18 - March 29, 2011
The federal Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) recently issued a reminder that attestation for the Medicare Electronic Health Record (EHR) Incentive Program begins April 18, 2011. For Medicare providers to begin to receive EHR incentive payments, they must first verify they have met the requirements for meaningful use. In preparation for launch of the Attestation System on April 18, CMS has provided a preview with screen shots of the attestation system, so that providers can learn what is included in the attestation process.
