Kaiser Permanente Will Sponsor IHI Fellowship for Safety Net Leader - September 27, 2011
Kaiser Permanente will sponsor an emerging safety net leader to participate in the Institute for Healthcare Improvement’s (IHI) 2012–2013 Fellowship Program. The IHI and the nation’s safety nets are working to move away from waste and indifference in the delivery system to a more just, equitable and patient-centered health care delivery system. In the face of reform, new leaders will gain the skills necessary to maintain the unique role of the safety net, while fostering a culture of innovation and scientific performance improvement.
