House Committee Issues Request for Hospital Discount Data - 6/22/09

NAPH has learned that Representative Dennis Kucinich (D-OH), Chairman of the Subcommittee on Domestic Policy of the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, has sent letters to a number of hospitals, including some NAPH members, requesting information about patient discounts, financial assistance programs, subsidies, and other payment information.  NAPH requests that members who receive this request notify NAPH.  Please contact Lynne Fagnani at 202-585-0111 or lfagnani@naph.org regarding your receipt of the letter or if you have any questions about the request, which must be responded to by June 30.
