HRSA Releases $28 Million in Health Center Health Information Technology Grants - October 5, 2009

HRSA announced on September 29 that 28 community health centers will receive $27.8 million in Recovery Act funds to support health information technology (HIT) advances. The grants will be used to assist health centers in adopting electronic health records (EHRs) and developing tools to use EHR systems to improve outcomes, and to support health center HIT innovations, such as the creation of HIT exchanges.
