HRSA Awards State Health Access Program Grants to 13 States - September 14, 2009

The Health Resources Services Administration (HRSA) will award $70.9 million in new State Health Access Program grants to 13 states to develop new initiatives to expand coverage among targeted populations, such as children and seniors, and to implement comprehensive coverage initiatives. The five-year grants, which were authorized in the Fiscal Year 2009 omnibus appropriations legislation, require states to provide a 20 percent match. Click here to view the grant announcement.
