HHS Releases Partnering to Heal Training Video to Reduce Health Care-Associated Infections - May 17, 2011

This week, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) released an interactive computer-based video simulation training program designed to help reduce health care-associated infections. The video, Partnering to Heal: Teaming Up Against Healthcare-Associated Infections, helps support the goals of the Partnership for Patients, the new public-private partnership to improve the quality, safety and affordability of health care in the U.S. The training video promotes a team-based approach to reducing health care-associated infections and is intended for students in the health professions, early-career clinicians and other health care personnel, as well as patients and families.
