Now is Time to Engage Members of Congress on Health Reform - July 1, 2009

With Congress out on a week-long recess before returning to Washington for a busy session in July, now is the time for public hospitals and their key stakeholders – CEOs, board members, donors and medical leadership – to hold meetings with members of Congress on health care reform. In particular, we recommend meeting with Senators to discuss the importance of protecting Medicaid and Medicare DSH payments.
