CMS Issues FY 2010 DSH Allotments and Revised FY 2009 Allotments - May 5, 2010

On April 23, CMS announced preliminary federal disproportionate share hospital (DSH) allotments for FY 2010, reflecting the 2.5% increase under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act. CMS also increased slightly the preliminary allotments for FY 2009, due to use of an updated inflation index, and published final allotments for FY 2008.
