DHS Requests Feedback on Disaster Preparedness - Aug. 24, 2010
The US Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) have launched a website to encourage a National Dialogue on Preparedness for disasters. The website, created for the Local, State, Tribal and Federal Preparedness Task Force, solicits feedback from any stakeholders on how to improve disaster preparedness. NAPH members may wish to submit their feedback, focusing on the specific issues that would face public hospitals in the event of a disaster. The National Dialogue is open until Sept. 10, 2010, and may be found online.
