NAPH Hosts Member Hospital Conference Call with White House Health Reform Office - August 14, 2009

On Thursday, August 13, NAPH hosted a conference call for member hospital staff with senior White House advisors on their health care reform efforts. Speaking on behalf of the White House were Mike Hash, Senior Advisor in the White House Office on Health Reform, Karen Richardson, Outreach Coordinator for the health reform office, and David Simas, White House Policy Advisor. The Administration advisors described the White House’s efforts during the pivotal August recess and answered questions from member hospitals. NAPH is launching a new “pro-reform” messaging campaign this summer.
