CMS to Hold August 18 Call on Medicare, Medicaid EHR Meaningful Use - August 9, 2011

The federal Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) recently announced it would be holding a teleconference on Medicare and Medicaid Electronic Health Records (EHR) meaningful use. The call is open to hospitals and professionals eligible for the Medicare and Medicaid EHR Incentive Programs and will focus on the definition of meaningful use and requirements to achieve and attest to meaningful use, among other things. The call will be Aug. 18 from 1:30 PM – 3:00 PM ET and registration is due by 1:30 PM ET on Aug. 17. Space is limited, so interested parties are encouraged to register as soon as possible.
