CMS Issues Request for Information Regarding ACOs and the Medicare Shared Savings Program - November 30, 2010
On Nov. 17, the federal Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) issued a request for information to help develop its initial rulemaking for accountable care organizations (ACOs) and the Medicare Shared Savings Program. The request for information poses a series of questions that focus on quality measures, payment models and performance assessment. Comments are due by Dec. 3 at 5:00 PM Eastern Time.
