CMS Issues Fact Sheet for New Medicare Beneficiaries - November 30, 2010

The federal Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) Office of External Affairs & Beneficiary Services recently developed two fact sheets, one in English and the other in Spanish to help new Medicare beneficiaries navigate the Medicare program. It provides tips on having an initial Medicare physical exam, and gives information on how to access various Medicare resources available. Members are encouraged to use the fact sheets to reach out to and educate new beneficiaries.
