CMS Innovation Center Announces Webinars, FAQ for Health Care Innovation Challenge - December 6, 2011

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services’ (CMS’) Center for Medicare & Medicaid Innovation (or, Innovation Center) is hosting webinars to provide guidance on the recently announced Health Care Innovation Challenge. The initiative will award up to $1 billion in grants to applicants who implement creative news ways to deliver high-quality medical care at reduced cost. The next webinar, which will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 13, will focus on the application process, specifically on quality measurement and financial plans. More information about the upcoming webinar will be posted on the Innovation Center website.

The Innovation Center has also created a Frequently Asked Questions page to manage the large number of inquiries regarding the Health Care Innovation Challenge. Additional questions may be submitted to InnovationChallenge@cms.hhs.gov.
