CMS Announces Open Call on Hospital Inpatient Value-Based Purchasing - February 1, 2011

The federal Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) announced it will hold a conference call on Thursday, Feb. 10, from 1:30-3:30 p.m. Eastern Time to discuss its proposed Hospital Inpatient Value-Based Purchasing (VBP) Program rule. The rule was originally published in the Federal Register on Jan. 13, 2011. According to CMS, staff on the call will discuss key features of the Hospital VBP program, and following CMS’s presentation, participants will be able to ask questions.
