NAPH Tracking Member Hospital Applications for Beacon Community Program Grants - March 17, 2010

Last December, HHS announced plans to award $220 million in grants to 15 communities for an innovative Beacon Community Program. These grants will help build and strengthen health information technology infrastructure and health information exchange capabilities at health systems, including strong privacy and security measures for data exchange. In an effort to work with the Administration to ensure safety net hospitals are included in this new program, NAPH would like to know if your community has applied for one of these grants.
