Apply Now! Action Coalitions for the Future of Nursing - July 6, 2011

The Campaign for Action endeavors to ensure that all Americans have access to high quality care. As part of this goal, the campaign will help shape the prospective role of nurses and their contributions to health care policy. The Institute of Medicine report, The Future of Nursing: Leading Change, Advancing Health, includes recommendations to address the nursing shortage, which will serve as the framework for this campaign and future projects.

The campaign is comprised of a diverse group of stakeholders at the state level that can affect long-term sustainable change. Communication of best practices, research needs and replicable models will support the efforts of the campaign. Selected organizations will receive technical assistance from the Center to Champion Nursing in America Campaign.
